ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

The full-time Operations Director will lead and optimize systems and processes to drive operational excellence, foster data integration, and deliver successful agency initiatives. This key leadership role oversees core business functions—including HR, IT, accounting, and project management—aligning strategic vision with hands-on execution to fuel growth, automate workflows, and ensure seamless operations.

ABOUT YOU

We seek a results-driven, proactive leader with a proven track record in scaling operations, managing growth, and building high-performing teams. You thrive on innovation, efficiency, and empowering others to succeed.

  • 5+ years of experience in director-level business operations (preferably within media or advertising)
  • Expertise in operational systems, HR, IT, accounting, and project management
  • Skilled in driving automation and streamlining workflows across software and staff
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills with relentless attention to detail
  • Proficient with Apple iOS and tools like Google Suite, Microsoft, QuickBooks, Trello, HubSpot, Intuit Time, WordPress, 1Password, Slack, etc.
  • Passion for data, automation tools (e.g., Zapier), and leveraging technology for efficiency
  • Experience implementing the EOS framework to align and execute strategic objectives
  • Reside near the Front Range of Colorado or are willing to cover your relocation for this hybrid opportunity.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Champion GMW’s mission, purpose, vision, and values (integrity, excellence, growth, and flow).
  • Foster a positive, collaborative, and supportive culture across the team
  • Oversee HR, IT, accounting, and project management functions.
  • Manage project management systems and SOP governance.
  • Drive alignment and accountability using EOS tools (e.g., scorecards, Level 10 meetings)
  • Develop and execute strategies to build or optimize systems, ensuring long-term sustainability.
  • Execute accurate company financials with the finance manager and bookkeeper.
  • Oversee data harmonization efforts, ensuring actionable insights for business decisions.
  • Manage technical systems, including setup and maintenance of hardware and software.
  • Support talent development through hiring, onboarding, and training.
